Scanning
The quality of the finished project depends, to a great extent, on the quality of the original scan. We tailor the density, contrast and resolution of the scan to the results expected from each photograph. We scan prints, negatives, or slides.

Photo Restoration
All restoration work is done using the digital scan of the original - the original is never altered in any way. The extent of restoration is based upon the condition of the original and the final results that you require. | example-photo restoration

Manipulation/Enhancement
In this category, we go beyond restoration to create an entirely new photograph, either by removing or adding images or people. This can go from enhancing backgrounds (i.e.: blur, change colour, add clouds, etc.) to replacing with a new background (portrait studio, or photo that you provide). We can remove or add people or other elements, or create a beautiful new portrait from your snapshot. | example-manipulation

Photo Composites/Photomontage
In both of these categories, we create one photograph from many. Text can be added for a slight additional cost, and quoted separately if required. Cost of scanning and minor restoration is included in the project cost. If original photos need substantial restoration for the required result, we will quote a slight additional cost. | example-composites/montage

Colorize Black and White Photographs
Colorizing photographs can range to a slight sepia tone added to portraits, to full colour portraits and scenes. Because of the subjective nature of this process, we need as much information from you as possible, regarding hair, eyes, skin tone, clothing and background colours. Compared to the old oil colour processes, a nice feature of digital colour is that unlimited prints in any size can be made from one colour file. | example-colorize

CD's
In addition to your prints, we deliver your finished project in digital format on CD's.

Archive/Reprints
Every customer project is archived on CD at Apexia Voice & Data after the
prints and digital files are delivered. Additional prints or file copies can be ordered at any time. For projects which require only scanning and archiving without any restoration, please let us quote a special project price.
